The Burbank Channel Bikeway is a one-mile Class 1 Bike Path that runs along the Burbank-Western Flood Control Channel, a tributary of the Los Angeles River. The City of Burbank has just begun the design for Phase 2 of this project, which would extend the path from Alameda Avenue to the Downtown Burbank Metrolink Station. Phase 1 of the Project was completed in 2011 and extends from Alameda Avenue to Victory Boulevard.

On September 24, 2015, the City Council selected the final path alignment for Phase II of the Burbank Channel Bikeway. Click here for a map of the route.

The City of Burbank will be working with nearby residents and community members on the design phase of the project.  If you would like to participate in design of the project, please contact the project Manager, Ross Young at 818.238.5210 or via email at ryoung@burbankca.gov.
