Transient Occupancy Tax
Hotel and motel operators are required to collect a Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) and remit to the City of Burbank on a monthly basis. The tax rate for the City of Burbank is ten (10%) percent of the rent charged by the operator to the hotel guest (transient) for occupancy of the hotel.

Transient Parking Tax
Parking operators are required to collect a Transient Parking Tax (TPT) and remit to the City of Burbank on a quarterly basis. The tax rate for the City of Burbank is twelve (12%) percent of the parking fee.

Utility Users Tax
The City of Burbank imposes a tax on users of certain utility services including telephone, electricity, and gas. Each utility user is subject to and shall pay a tax in the amount of seven (7%) percent of the utility amount.
