Burbank City Council Declares Nov 13-19 as Transgender Awareness Week

On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, the Burbank City Council proclaimed the week of November 13-19, 2022 as Transgender Awareness Week.

The City of Burbank is committed to supporting visibility and equality for LGBTQIA+ individuals in the community. Transgender Awareness Week is an opportunity to raise awareness, end discrimination, oppose prejudice, and foster a welcoming and safe place for all Burbank residents to live, work, and thrive.
