Burbank City Council Proclaims February 2023 as Black History Month

On Tuesday, January 31st, the City Council proclaimed February 2023 as Black History Month in the City of Burbank. This proclamation celebrates the economic, cultural, social, and political contributions of Black Americans in our community and throughout US history. City employees from the Library, Information Technology, Parks and Recreation, and Fire were present to accept the proclamation and support the City's commitment to honoring the achievements of Black Americans throughout our country's history and beyond.
