Burbank Councilmember Appointed to the League of California Cities Public Safety Policy Committee
Burbank, CA (December 27, 2021) – The League of California Cities has selected Burbank Councilmember Bob Frutos to receive a presidential appointment for a one-year term on the Public Safety Policy Committee.
The role of the Public Safety Policy Committee is to review issues related to law enforcement, fire- and life-safety policies, including emergency communications, and emergency services, as well as ambulance and disaster preparedness.
“It is a privilege to receive a presidential appointment to serve on the League of California Cities’ Public Safety Policy Committee,” said Councilmember Frutos. “The League of California Cities plays an important role in local government and I look forward to working with the Committee to support policies and resources that strengthen the work of our first responders and law enforcement."
The League of California Cities is an association of California city officials who work together to enhance their knowledge and skills, exchange information, and combine resources so that they may influence policy decisions that affect cities.
