Burbank Reminds Residents, Businesses and Visitors of the Importance of Facemasks
Burbank, CA (July 24, 2020) – The City of Burbank reminds residents, businesses and visitors that the wearing of face coverings when in public is extremely important to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
The City has developed a new Face Coverings Fact Sheet that provides updated information on when and where to wear face coverings.
Businesses are welcome to download or request a poster to hang within their store window or within their office. Printed copies are available and can be picked up at the City by calling 818-238-5160.
Police Officers, along with Downtown Ambassadors, and StreetPlus, will handout cards to the public providing face covering guidance and offer face coverings to someone that they encounter that should be but is not wearing a face covering.
“We need to continually work together as a city to protect each other,” says Mayor Sharon Springer. “The wearing of face coverings helps keep us safe. Please do your part and we will get through this together.”
