City of Burbank Workforce Connection Announces Name Change to Burbank Employee Connection

BURBANK, CA (April 23, 2021) – The City of Burbank Workforce Connection is excited to announce its new name, Burbank Employment Connection (BEC). This name change is the first step in the future expansion of services including an electronic newsletter, virtual veteran’s job fair, informational videos, and other online resources for job seekers.

“The Burbank Employment Connection’s name change reflects our dedication to serve Burbank’s job seekers providing them the necessary resources and services to find their next job and excel in their careers,” said Management Services Director Betsy McClinton. “As the COVID-19 Pandemic impacted the jobs of many, BEC served as an essential service and remained committed to helping Burbank’s job seekers navigate through these trying times, connecting many with valuable resources and new career opportunities.”

The friendly staff offers personalized customer service and assistance with job application processes, resume writing, information on available City of Burbank positions, and valuable resources regarding EDD and Unemployment Insurance assistance.
