Construction Notice for San Fernando Boulevard

Burbank, CA (May 09, 2024) – Please be informed that sections of the sidewalk in Downtown Burbank along San Fernando Boulevard and Magnolia Boulevard will undergo approximately three weeks of construction starting May 13, 2024, through May 31, 2024 (excluding the Memorial Day holiday) for the installation of underground conduits and fiber optic cables.

The work will occur Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. There will be intermittent sidewalk closures during the duration of construction on the West side of San Fernando Boulevard from Magnolia Boulevard to Orange Grove Avenue, the South side of Magnolia Boulevard from San Fernando Boulevard into the Magnolia intersection, and on Orange Grove Avenue near San Fernando Boulevard. The schedule is subject to change and is dependent upon weather conditions.

Please anticipate pedestrian detours, limited commercial parking, and reduced loading zones. During certain phases of construction, eastbound traffic on Magnolia Boulevard and Orange Grove Avenue will be reduced to one travel lane.

If possible, please avoid any unnecessary travel to the area and plan ahead to avoid any delays.
