Councilmember Zizette Mullins to Receive 2024 Women of Achievement Award from Business & Professional Women Valley Sunset District

Burbank, CA (September 5, 2024) – Councilmember Zizette Mullins has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 Women of Achievement Award by the California Federation of Business & Professional Women (BPW) Valley Sunset District. Councilmember Mullins will accept the award at BPW’s Annual Women of Achievement Conference on September 14, 2024. 

Councilmember Mullins was one of three women selected by BPW for her long-time service to the community. Her career in public service began with the City of Glendale, followed by her roles as Burbank’s City Clerk and, most recently, as a Burbank City Councilmember. In addition to her duties as an elected official, Councilmember Mullins has experience as a business owner and has been actively involved in her community, serving on several boards and task forces.

"Receiving the 2024 Women of Achievement Award from the California Federation of Business & Professional Women Valley Sunset District is an incredible honor," said Councilmember Mullins. "I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve the community I love.
