Empire Avenue Closure

Please note that Burbank Water and Power Water Division Crews will install a new 12-inch water main on Empire Avenue, from Naomi to Ontario. This work will require the closure of the west direction of Empire Avenue. The street closure will be phased as follows:
•             From Naomi to Catalina          10/24/2023 to 11/7/2023
•             From Catalina to Niagara        11/8/2023 to   11/22/2023
•             From Niagara to Fairview        11/27/2023 to 12/8/2023
•             From Fairview to Ontario        12/11/2023 to 12/22/2023
 
The street closures will occur on weekdays from 7:00 A.M.  to 3:30 P.M. only. Message signs and traffic control devices will be installed to detour traffic as safely and efficiently as possible.
