High Wind Warning January 7-8, 2025

Please be advised of a High Wind Warning from Tuesday morning, January 7, 2025 until Wednesday night, January 8, 2025.

High winds are expected over the next two days. Stay safe and prepared by taking the following precautions:

Expect Power Outages - Strong winds may cause power outages. Charge your devises now and have flashlights ready.

Report Outages - If you experience an outage, call (818) 238-3700. After hours, call emergency services at (818) 238-3778.

Stay Away from Downed Power Lines - If you see a downed line, stay far away and call Burbank Water and Power immediately (818) 238-3700. Always assume power lines are live!

Secure Loose Items - Bring in or tie down outdoor furniture, decorations, and trash bins to prevent them from becoming hazards.
