Lockheed F-104D-15-LO Starfighter Jet Monument Restoration Project

For over 30 years, the Lockheed F-104D-15-LO Starfighter Jet Monument at George Izay Park, a donation from the U.S. Air Force, has stood as a tribute to Burbank's aviation history. From March 20th through June 2025, restoration work will begin to preserve its legacy for future generations. The grass area surrounding the monument will be temporarily fenced off for safety; however, sidewalks and surrounding park space will remain open to the public.
