Notice of Temporary Lane Restrictions Affecting Hollywood Way, Verdugo Ave, Cordova St, and Alameda Ave

Please be advised of temporary lane restrictions on Hollywood Way, Verdugo Avenue, Cordova Street, and Alameda Avenue beginning October 23, 2024, through March 31, 2025. Please note, the project timeline is subject to change pending any unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions.

Lane restrictions are necessary to conduct small excavations/slot trenching, new conduit infrastructure, and resurfacing. This project ensures long-term infrastructure reliability for Burbank businesses and residents. Residents can expect noise-generating activities such as: jackhammering, saw cutting of asphalt, installation of new conduit Infrastructure, resurfacing, concrete, and compaction.

Traffic restrictions: Lane closures will be clearly marked with traffic cones and signage (see attached map). Turn lanes will be impacted on Hollywood Way, Verdugo Avenue, Alameda Avenue, and the cross streets. There will be no impact to sidewalks.

Street parking: Parking will be prohibited along the sections slated for street work. “No Parking” signs will be posted in advance to restrict parking in work zones as needed. Property driveway access will be maintained.

Work hours: Construction times are Monday through Friday between 8:30AM and 3:30PM. Work is contingent on weather, and delays may occur.
