Notice of Traffic Signal Shut-Downs along Glenoaks Blvd

UPDATED SCHEDULE AS OF 10/28/24: 

Schedule of Shut-Downs has been updated as follows: 

• Glenoaks and Cypress - Tuesday, 10/29
• Glenoaks and Magnolia - Wednesday, 10/30
• Glenoaks and Orange Grove - Thursday, 10/31
• Glenoaks and Angeleno - Monday, 11/4 & Tuesday, 11/5 
• First and Orange Grove - Wednesday, 11/6 & Thursday 11/7

Please be advised that the City of Burbank has contracted with International Line Builders (ILB) for the Glenoaks Blvd and First St Signal Improvement Project. During this phase of the construction, ILB will be conducting electrical work, switching signal wiring, and installing signal poles at the intersections listed below beginning October 23, 2024 through November 13, 2024, between the hours of 8:30AM – 3:30PM.  The traffic signals at these intersections will be shut down, and the signal indications will be dark. Traffic will operate as an All-Way Stop at each intersection.

To ensure safety, the contractor will place STOP signs and other temporary traffic control measures at the affected intersections.

Schedule of Signal Shut-Downs:

• Glenoaks and Olive - Wednesday 10/23 & Thursday 10/24
• Glenoaks at Verdugo - Monday 10/28 & Tuesday 10/29
• Glenoaks at Cypress - Wednesday 10/30 & Thursday 10/31
• Glenoaks at Magnolia - Monday 11/4 & Tuesday 11/5
• Glenoaks at Orange Grove - Wednesday 11/6 & Thursday 11/7
• Glenoaks at Angeleno - Tuesday 11/12 & Wednesday 11/13
