Orange Grove Avenue Pavement Restoration Third Street to San Fernando Boulevard Road closure July 15 and 16, 2021
Ward Corporation will be repaving Orange Grove Avenue from Third Street to San Fernando Blvd. on July 15th and 16th. Orange Grove was paved in spring 2019 as part of an AT&T utility relocation for the I-5 Improvement Project; however, there was a defect with the asphalt and it has shown signs of failure. The street segment will be closed for one day and detour signage will be provided. Motorists are advised to avoid this area and use alternative driving routes. The project will consist of:

Thursday July 15, 2021 from 10:00pm to 6:00am: Traffic control will be setup and the top layer of the roadway will be removed and then prepared to receive the new pavement layer. Access to the City Hall Parking Structure will be limited.

Friday July 16, 2021- Starting at 7:00am, the City Hall Parking Structure will be closed and paving operations will begin. By 4pm, it is expected that the work will be completed and the roadway and parking structure will be open to the public.
