Statement Regarding Grande v. City of Burbank Updates - "Conan"

On January 14, 2024, first responders attended to a victim of a dog bite with grievous injury to her right arm. The Los Angeles Superior Court has upheld the designation of the dog as vicious and overturned the remedy of euthanasia in lieu of strict requirements for future registration, limits on ownership, and dog management.

While decisions involving potentially dangerous animals are always challenging, the court ensured all parties received a fair hearing, and its ruling is final.
