Street Closures and City Closure Updates

Street Closures and City Closure Updates (Jan 8, 9:00 AM)

Street Closures:

- NOW OPEN: Glenoaks between Olive and Orange Grove

- Harvard at Sunset is closed going up the hillside due to a tree failure.

- Wildwood and Stough Canyon Trail are closed until further notice.

City Facilities and Programming:

- Wildwood and Stough Canyon Trail are closed until further notice.

- Stough Canyon Nature Center is closed due to power outage.

- Verdugo Aquatic Facility is closed until further notice.

- All outdoor sports programming, including adult slow-pitch softball, has been cancelled.

- Valley Skate Park closed.

- Afterschool Daze Programs open but will remain indoors only.

- Joslyn Adult Center (1301 W Olive Ave) will close at 1:00PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

- Earthwalk Park (1922 Grismer Ave) is closed due to a fallen tree.

- DeBell Golf Course and Driving Range are closed.

- McCambridge Recreation Center Closed

- Betsy Leuke Creative Arts Center Closed

- Olive Recreation Center Closed 

- Ovrum Recreation and Community Center Closed

- Mary Alvord Recreation Center Closed

- Northwest Branch Library (3323 W Victory Blvd) is closed for January 8, 2025. Central and Buena Vista Branches remain open; however, ALL library programming scheduled for January 8, 2025 is cancelled.

Burbank Unified School District:

- All Burbank Unified School District schools and school district offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 8th.
