This notice is to let you know that the City of Burbank City Council will hold a Public Meeting to consider a zone text amendment and adoption of an Ordinance to establish a “Streamlined Ministerial Review and Public Oversight Process” for development projects submitted under SB 35  (California Government Code Section 65913.4.) and adoption of a City Council Resolution amending the City Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-2022 to establish cost recovery fees related to City’s incurred expenses for processing SB 35 applications.

The City, as the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Lead Agency, has determined that the proposed zone text amendment and Ordinance is exempt from the CEQA pursuant to Section 15061(B)(3) of the California Public Resources Code. It is the City’s assessment that the zone text amendment to create a streamlined ministerial review process for projects submitted under SB 35 will not result in an environmental impact under CEQA.
