The 2.01-acre site is located within the M-2 (General Industrial) Zone with an existing self-storage facility. The project application is for proposed Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to demolish approximately 40,432 square feet of an existing 60,324 square-foot self-storage facility and construction of a new 4-story 162,051 square-foot self storage facility.
The City is currently reviewing proposals for peer review of the submitted Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA). The purpose of the peer review will be to determine if the Project is eligible for a Categorical Exemption pursuant to CEQA Section 15300.
