Residential Parking Permit Intro

Parking on certain residential streets in Burbank is restricted to ensure that parking is available to the residents of those streets. For residential streets with parking restrictions, residents may obtain parking permits that allow vehicles registered to their Burbank home address to parking on the street beyond the posted restrictions. Permits are available on an annual basis. Permits for visitors are also available.

Residential parking permitrenewals are now open. Go to https://www.tocite.net/burbankca/portal to apply.

NEW! Starting October 2024, all residential parking permits will be based on vehicle license plate numbers, which means you will no longer need to display decals or hangtags.

Residential parking permits with an expiration date of "9-30-24" will remain valid until December 31, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS

Only those residential dwelling units on a street block, within the posted street signs, are eligible to receive residential parking permits.

  • Proof of residency will be verified through Burbank Water and Power accounts. Additional documents may be required.

  • Valid vehilce registration for each permit requested must be provided. The vehicle registration must match the applicant's qualifying address. Each residential dwelling is eligible to review a maximum of five permits.
