SERVICE NOTICES & CLOSURES

Effective July 17, 2020 - Skate parks host non-contact activities in which participants are separated while engaging in the sport.

The following restrictions and protocols are required to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines:

DO NOT ENTER if you are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness, including fever or cough.

  • Practice Social Distancing - Provide distance of at least 6 feet of space at all times during your visit.
  • Face Coverings Required - Face Coverings are required at all times.
  • Do Not Share Equipment - Participants must use their skateboard, scooter, bike helmet, pads, etc.
  • Do Not Gather in Groups - Spectators are not allowed. Participants must not congregate while at the park.
  • Be Prepared - Participants are encouraged to bring hand sanitizer or disinfecting wipes to wash and sanitize hands often. Water fountain is available only to refill water bottles. 
The Valley Skate Park was built in Month 1, Year. Valley Skate Park hosts many events including the yearly BMX Spectacular and Scooter Mania. Skating classes are also available on site.

Valley Skate Park Rules

  • All participants must wear proper helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads.
  • All participants must be registered and have a signed waiver on file.  
  • A parent must sign waiver if participant is under 18 years of age and must be present when waiver is signed.
  • By signing the waiver, participants are agreeing to follow the Valley Skate Park Code of Ethics

Please read, sign, and turn in the Valley Skate Park Waiver to a staff member before entering the facility.

BMX Bikes

BMX Bikes

BMX bikes must have the following to enter the park:

  • Plastic or aluminum pedals
  • Plastic peg covers or no pegs
  • Rubber grip ends on handle bars
